Role and Responsibilities: 

Full Time Senior Logistician position supporting the NSWC PHD - N Department, providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to the Program Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) for Japan to include life cycle support, database management, reliability, maintainability, and availability, interfacing with technology insertions, new development, and major upgrades.

Position Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s Degree and 5 - 7 years of Logistics experience or no degree and 8 - 10 years of experience.

•  Able to work independently, perform and complete tasks with little to no guidance.

•  Able to communicate expectations and follow-up to make sure deadlines are met.

•  Coordinates international initiatives for the development and sustainment of the online database project to align with       established FMS processes and requirements.

•  Retrieves, analyzes, and presents data collected from MISIL and Cargo Offer Letters to aid in the FRN reconciliation process  for FMS customers to include ATLA.

•  Responsible for the information management of SCLSIS reports and associated database systems for Japan.

•  Able to interface with Project Engineers, LogReps, Engineers, Technicians, and Logisticians.

•  Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).

•  Have a valid driver’s license with own transportation.

•  Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.

•  Able to follow company policies and procedures.

•  Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.

Preferred Skills:

•  Knowledge of identifying and tracking new construction, major ILS program milestones, and 

supporting country-specific logistics demands.

•  Knowledge of maintaining ship configuration data, technical documentation, material staging, and 

material packaging handling storage, and transportation.

Physical Requirements:

•  Must be able to travel if/when required.
