Role and Responsibilities: Full Time position supporting the CEC Task Order filling the senior systems engineer position. Duties include: system engineering, review and analysis of financial and budgeting documentation. The position is located at Port Hueneme, CA. Position Duties: • Either Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree and 8 years of experience supporting Navy systems or no degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience supporting Navy systems. • Must assist with coordination with the CEC Hardware/Production Manager to ensure that all installation requirements are aligned with production delivery. • Must review Fleet Modernization Program (FMP) related installation funding docs and submit to Installation Manager. • Must be able to assist in the coordination with Ship Platform Managers (SPMs), SEA 21 and PMS 400F availability managers to ensure that complete and proper planning is accomplished for CEC equipment back-fit installations. • Must assist with coordination with PEO for development and delivery of Installation Control Drawings (ICDs), in providing installation schedules, and in providing equipment shipping instructions and review of Ship Project Directive (SPD) docs. • Must assist with coordination with planning yards to ensure ICDs are provided timely; review & provide recommendations and feedback on Technical Drawing Packages (TDPs), Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), Liaison Action Records (LARs), and working with the Installation Manager to ensure funding is available for Design Services Allocations (DSA). • Must support Installation Manager in developing presentations for Program Acquisition Resource Manager (PARM) reviews. • Must assist with coordination of all CEC related new ship construction requirements.• Must be able to develop all CEC installation schedules and maintain Inform DB. • Must be able to maintain CEC installation cost data files.• Must be able to prepare briefing materials and presentations and conduct briefings for management and other high-level decision makers. • Must be able to work independently or in a team, complete tasks, and provide technical guidance to others. • Must be able to take responsibility for action items assigned, complete the actions, and provide status. • Must have a valid driver’s license with own transportation and able to travel (0 -25%). • Must be able to satisfactorily complete background check and get a government clearance. • Must be able to follow company policies and procedures. • Must be able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed technical monthly reports. Preferred Skills: • Experience with Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) • Navy A / C School (FC or OS) • Experience with MS Project, Excel, and PowerBL |
