#2678 Senior Systems Engineer (SE40)

| Role and Responsibilities: Part-Time position supporting the TESS Task Order filling the Senior Systems Engineer position supporting the Air Defense Electronic Protection (ADEP) position with light travel. Duties include: system engineering, test analysis, and operation and maintenance of test equipment. The position is a hybrid remote position with meetings to be attended on site at NSWC Port Hueneme Division .Position Duties: • Either Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree and 7 years’ experience or no degree with a minimum of 12 years technical experience supporting Navy systems experience. • Support of and proficiency in Electronic Target Generator (ETG) equipment, operations, and maintenance for test planning purposes including its use in developing plots/scenarios. • Experience/familiarity with the capabilities and limitations of ETG, Multi-Band Radar Return Range Simulator (MiRRoRS),and Advance Radar Environment Simulator (ARES). • Expertise in electronic attack equipment and capabilities, to include modes and effective ranges to aid in test planning. • Experience in Manned raids planning and execution, to include aircraft plot development and crew coordination. • Proficiency in software programs used to develop aircraft plots and run tables. • Familiarity with both Port Hueneme and Pt Mugu test environments and range processes. • Experience with scenario development/ideally even more specific to Air Defense Electronic Protection (ADEP) events. • Development of ADEP plans to include drafting of air plots for manned raid scenarios, liaison with ATSO/NAWC WD ISO Electronic Target Generator support for CSSQT/DT/OT events. • Must have a valid driver’s license with own transportation and able to travel extensively. • Must be able to satisfactorily complete background check and get a government clearance. • Must be able to follow company policies and procedures. • Must be able to clearly write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed technical monthly report's Preferred Skills: • Navy A/C School Mandatory Physical Requirements: • None |
