Role and Responsibilities: 

Full Time Logistician position supporting the N Department providing Diminishing

Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Logistics support services for Foreign Military Sales

(FMS) Branch

Position Qualifications:

• High School Degree 2-4 years of logistics experience OR Associate’s Degree and 1 year of Logistics

experience.

• Update the Aegis FMS Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) associated

database.

• Collect, maintain and update the Aegis FMS DMSMS Health Charts database as directed by NSWC PHD

Aegis FMS leadership.

• Support meetings as directed by NSWC PHD Aegis FMS leadership to include in person or telephone

conference (TELECON) participation, presentation inputs, change slide control, and/or take meeting

minutes.

• Obtain and maintain access to logistics associated resources for research to complete NSWC PHD

associated Aegis FMS tasking in support of ECP, ILS, ALT review and updates.

• Complete all required training courses needed to conduct Aegis FMS associated work

• Able to interface with Project Engineers, LogReps, Engineers, Technicians and Logisticians.

• Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).

• Have a valid driver’s license with own transportation.

• Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.

• Must be punctual, attention to detail, and take good notes.

• Must be able to work under minimal supervision, perform and complete tasks with limited guidance.

• Able to follow company policies and procedures.

• Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.

Preferred Skills:

• Navy Logistics School and previous NAVSEA Logistics/DMS experience.

• Strong MS Excel spreadsheet experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to travel if/when required.
