Role and Responsibilities:
  
Part-Time position providing logistics and technical support for Ordnance Alterations (ORDALTs) installation planning, scheduling, technical documentation for the development of the AIT Workbooks. AIT Workbooks shall include the scope of the installation; the process used for the installation, all personnel requirements including qualifications and certifications, and identify the procedures used in accordance with NAVSEA Standard Items.
Position Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma and 1–3 years of applicable experience Or an equivalent of applicable administrative/logistic support. experience.
Must be able to develop AIT Workbooks utilizing the following references: NSWCPHDINST9090.3 (Series) AIT Quality Management System, NAVSEA Technical Specification 9090-310(series) Alterations to Ships by AITs, NSWCPHDINST 12933.5 OSIC Training Qualification Standard (TQS) and NDE-RMMCO Application User Manual.
Must be a self-starter and able to prepare and develop Workbooks, research and analyze reports and make recommendations, meeting required deadline schedules.
Must be able to provide liaison between logisticians and engineers completing ORDALT Planning Installation Packages including tracking signature signoffs.
Must be able to support documentation and logistic requirements including collecting, reviewing, validating, preparing and maintaining ORDALT and ILS documents.
Must be able to upload to the portal and maintain electronic copies of completed workbooks and related documentation in an accessible central location for all installations.
Must have experience with developing and creating documents and spreadsheets utilizing Adobe and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Must be able to review, write and edit Navy technical maintenance documentation.
Must be able to conduct quality assurance reviews on publications and reporting findings.
Must be able to multi-task and have attention to detail to QA and ensure quality products.
Must be able to attend meetings; make recommendations and report development and status of action items.
Must be able to work under general supervision, perform and complete tasks with limited guidance.
Must have or be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with NDE desired
