Role and Responsibilities:
Full-Time Configuration Management tasking is for the LCS Sustainment Combat System, Legacy, and new Alterations. Configuration Management tasking will include developing and submitting Ship Change Documents and ILS Certifications in the Navy Data Environment, which is the mandatory database to use for all ship alterations. Tasking will also include processing Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)s, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Certifications, developing/submitting Configuration Overhaul Planning (COP) Work files and submitting all Ship Change Documents, monthly reports and metrics to the PEO IWS 80 program office in accordance with CDRL deliverables
Position Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree and 7-10 years of CM experience or no degree and 9-12 years of CM experience.
Able to work independently, perform and complete tasks with little to no guidance.
Able to provide data management including configuration identification and control.
Able to follow CM/logistics standards and procedures.
Able to communicate expectations and follow-up to make sure deadlines are met.
Support development and release management of configuration data and configuration status accounting.
Provide control of the technical configuration of project assets.
Able to develop/update on AIT (Alteration Installation Team) workbooks.
Able to apply CM/logistics processes for documentation updates/revisions and change control management.
Track reconfigurations, baselines and data management.
Able to utilize numerous Navy logistics and CM applications such as Advance Configuration and Engineering Status System (ACCESS) and able to maintain configuration data utilizing VIEWnet.
Organization and project management
Able to interface with Project Engineers, LogReps, Engineers, Technicians and Logisticians.
Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).
Have a valid driver’s license with own transportation.
Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.
Must be punctual, attention to detail, and take good notes.
Must be able to work under minimal supervision, perform and complete tasks with limited guidance.
Able to follow company policies and procedures.
Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.
Preferred Skills:
Navy Logistics School and previous NAVSEA CM/Logistics experience.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to travel if/when required.
